Once the movers and packers leave, consider setting up all essential furniture and appliances.  Place sheets on the beds and prepare them for the night.  Unpack kitchen items you may need over the next few days.  If you will need to work from home, set up your desk and computer.  Having items you need ready to use makes the rest of the unpacking process much easier.

ASSIGN TASKS

Assign tasks to family members according to their capabilities.  If Laura is great with electronics, have her connect the television and computers.  If Bill has a knack for organizing, have him determine how to best utilize cabinet space in the kitchen and bathrooms.

WHEN OUR MOVERS AND PACKERS ARRIVE

When our movers and packers enter your home, the first item on their agenda is to conduct a walk through with you.  This is the time for you to show them what items to pack and what stays behind. BE ORGANIZED WHEN PACKING
